It was fantastic! I watched it almost 2 weeks ago, but I absolutely loved it. The storyline, the actors, the characters, the surprises, the director and producers. Everything, other than the fact it was just a movie, so had to end. But as Dev Patel’s character says “But if it’s not alright then it’s not yet the end”, so the movie came to an end, and I guess everything was as alright as it possibly could have been.
I don’t think you have to be an ‘older’ person to see this, I really think that if you have not seen this, and you need a laugh or to take your mind of something, take a few hours out to go and watch it. Stop reading and go with friends or family of any age to watch it.
Maggie Smith plays a woman who can simply be described as racist in the beginning but by the end she saves the day, well at least the hotel. Dev Patel is the young hotel owner who is struggling to keep it floating. However, with the arrival of the British visitors things work out, slowly but surely, at first it is clear a few of the guests don’t want to be there, in the hotel, or India! We see glimpses of everybody’s lives and what makes them individuals. Seriously, if you haven’t seen it, what are you waiting for?
Have a smirt day, peace out!
